Projecte d'investigació-acció: Violència escolar i integració social

En aquest treball es presenta el Projecte d'Investigació-Acció realitzat pel grup Lisis de la Universitat de València. Des del model ecològic, l'interès està a analitzar i prevenir la conducta violenta entre iguals a l'escola. Per a això s'ha aplicat en una mostra de 1319 adolescents d'edats compreses entre els 11 i els 16 anys una bateria d'instruments. En aquest article s'exposa, a tall d'exemple, un dels models d'equacions estructurals calculats en aquesta investigació. En concret s'analitza l'efecte directe i l'indirecte del clima familiar en la conducta violenta entre iguals i en el context escolar.

The three-fold division of this book—how these peasant elites and the peasantry in general confronted the authorities, how they dealt with them, and how they acted within their own local communities and networks—has aimed to place their aggressive and violent behaviour in the framework of Nordic state formation in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. An extensive body of criminological research has shown that criminaland violent behaviour manifests time patterns in terms of daily,weekly and annual cycles. This is consistent with criminologicalroutine activities theory. Can we generalize these patterns to historicalperiods? In this article, we draw on a recently created uniquedataset, covering the years 1608–1699 in three Nordic regions, toexplore time cycles of offending in the early modern period.Examining daily, weekly and annual cycles, we find that lethalviolence manifested strong time patterns in the early modernperiod. The invention of assembly line manufacturing, together with the generalised and massive use of the private automobile, has transformed motor vehicles from simply being a mode of transportation to encompass and symbolise a new lifestyle and social order1. Unfortunately, as in many other facets of modern society, the driving environment is not exempt from the expression of violent behaviour2–3. Because the root of driving is found in the lifestyle of a society, this way of life not only dictates the use of motor vehicles but also the way in which they are used4.

ResumenLas conductas violentas en adolescentes constituyen una importante problemática social debido a sus graves consecuencias. El objetivo del presente estudio fue analizar las diferencias entre chicos y chicas adolescentes en conductas violentas dirigidas hacia sus iguales, y en algunas variables explicativas de estas conductas como sus actitudes hacia la autoridad y las normas, la comunicación con sus padres y la calidad de la relación con sus profesores.
